It had beasts, dinosaurs, Darth Vader, a DeLorean, an F1 simulator and even Father Christmas.
As one of the UK's biggest marketing events, over 100 of the most exciting and innovative martech companies made every effort to impress for the 2016 Technology for Marketing (TFM) exhibition.
Taking place on September 28-29, TFM attracts over 7,500 marketing professionals every year to its sizeable venue at London Olympia, who have come to investigate the very latest in email marketing, campaign management, data visualization, database management, analytics and more.
However, thanks to the assistance of our fearsomely adorable 'marketing beast', and the tireless efforts of the team, there was no doubt that BlueVenn stand T572 was the place to be!
Our visitors were treated to a demonstration of the latest version of the BlueVenn marketing platform and the ability to gain a deeper understanding of some the platform’s key features, including ‘Train-of-Thought’ analytics and customer journey management, as well as BlueVenn’s powerful and visual segmentation and modeling tools and real-time personalization functionality. Plus, of course, read our extraordinary Defeating the Mythical Beasts of Marketing storybook report and pick up one of our popular marketing beast cuddly toys!
Away from the BlueVenn stand, TFM hosted dozens of keynote speeches and conferences, covering topics including content marketing, attribution, omnichannel experiences, customer engagement, email marketing and the latest status of data privacy laws. Away from the BlueVenn stand, TFM hosted dozens of keynote speeches and conferences, covering topics including content marketing, attribution, omnichannel experiences, customer engagement, email marketing and the latest status of data privacy laws. If you wanted to learn how the Internet of Things is transforming the relationship between companies and customers, how to improve your search rankings, use personalization in your emails, or the latest cross-platform consumer behaviors, TFM was the place to be.
BlueVenn consultant Jemma Hardyman also took to the stage over the course of the two days, introducing IM Group CRM Director (and BlueVenn client) Howard Ormersher for his informative presentation, ‘How Subaru are using marketing automation and customer analytics to accelerate marketing success’. If you want to listen to it ‘on-demand’, this presentation (and all the others from the show) will be available in the next few days from the tfmInsights website.
However, TFM wasn’t just an occasion to get up to speed with the latest happenings in the world of marketing technology. There were also plenty of opportunities to let your hair down, whether this was taking part in dotmailer’s take on the Crystal Maze dome, putting in laps in a virtual race car, playing table football and even hanging out with some of the icons of Star Wars.
